About the Tour

San Marcos and the Silk Road.
This is the most secret route to get to San Marcos where nobody arrives seeing the most beautiful things on the island on the way.
We are going to see the most important of Venice but in a secret tour through the alleys and the less crowded squares.
The idea is that if you have only one day in Venice you can see everything and see things that nobody sees.

We will begin with the Fondamente Nove from where we can see the Cemetery Island of San Michelle and the Casin de los Espiritus until we reach the old Scuola Grande de San Marco and today Ospedale Civile, up to Santa Maria Formosa where the famous courtesan Veronica Franco received the king of France, to later see the Bridge of Sighs away from the crowds and be able to take the coolest photos.
We end up in Plaza San Marcos where one thousand six hundred years of history of the Serenissima await you.

Enjoy this tour in the evening hours to be able to visit the area with less influx of people, you will thank me!

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: We meet in front of the Jesuit Church in Campo dei Gesuiti, very close to the Fondamente Nove vaporetto stop. You will recognize me because I will be wearing a pink umbrella and my guide badge.
