Secret and Mysterious Venice: San Marco and the Silk Road
We are several guides in love with Venice, some are authors of several guides and articles about the most beautiful city in the world, others historians. Our specialty is to make our clients happy by showing them culture, history but also leisure and gastronomy. We are looking forward to showing you Venice.
Tour description
San Marcos and the Silk Road.
This is the most secret route to get to San Marcos where no one arrives seeing the most beautiful parts of the island on the way.
We are going to see the most important of Venice but in a secret tour through the streets and the least crowded squares.
The idea is that if you have only one day in Venice you can see everything and see things that nobody sees.
We will start with the Fondamente Nove from where we can see the San Michelle Cemetery Island and the Casin dei Espiritus until we reach the old Scuola Grande de San Marco and today Ospedale Civile, up to Santa Maria Formosa where the famous courtesan Veronica Franco received the king of France, to later see the Bridge of Sighs away from the crowds and be able to take the coolest photos.
We end up in Piazza San Marco where sixteen hundred years of history of the Serenissima await you.
Enjoy this tour in the evening to be able to visit the area with less crowds, you will thank me!
*IMPORTANT:
The tour is free to pay for groups of less than 6 people, EVEN IF THEY COME WITH DIFFERENT RESERVATIONS, the guide may refuse the admission of groups of more than 6 people to the tour unless they accept the minimum payment per person. For groups of more than 6 there is a minimum charge of 10 euros per person, even if they have made separate reservations.
In a city like Venice where a coffee costs 5 euros it is still a bargain.
With us you not only have a guide but a friend you can count on to make your trip unforgettable.
