In Tortosa the most exciting thing is the history of its city and its territory of influence since the time of the Iberians. I am passionate about history, especially my territory and ancient times, especially the Middle Ages and the Order of the Temple. My special interest is Romanesque and Gothic architecture, where we can explore sacred geometries and construction. It is the differentiating attraction of the routes that I carry out, finding and showing the mystery, its special location, the antiquity of the place, stories and legends... Feeling and making people feel that the stones also speak.

Tour description

Your visit to the Cathedral of Santa María de Tortosa will be full of surprises and discoveries.

The temple, located on other sites of ancient civilizations that left their mark on this city, also on its spirituality. I mean, the place has always been sacred ground.

We will follow the same recommended itinerary, but with the variant of discovering curious and enigmatic details about its unique construction, the Gothic apse with its double ambulatory, the Romanesque altarpiece of Our Lady of the Star, owner of the temple. The spectacular chapel of Our Lady of Cinta, patron saint of the city and of successful pregnancies, covered in "brocatello of Hispania", a unique stone from this land, which the Romans so appreciated. The Baptisme chapel, which a donation from Pope Luna,...
And a lot of other stories with which you will not only enjoy it, but will vibrate it.
