Hello, my name is Camilo and I have been a tour guide since 2018. Apart from Valparaíso, I have also lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a year and Brazil for 2 years, so I like to share with people from different places in the world to learn and also teach what you know, which for me is the essence of the tour to discover, exchange and learn.
We meet in the Civic Plaza of Valparaíso, in front of the mural that represents spring. From there, we will enter the city's historic hills, surrounded by murals and graffiti by local artists.
We will observe the urban gallery that is today the port city through its streets and learning about the different artists who have captured their identity on the walls of the city. We will also visit two art galleries where we will learn about exponents of engraving (engraving techniques) and painting styles.
This complemented with the tour and history of the port and enjoying its picturesque viewpoints, alleys, stairs that tell us about the history of this mythical port also known as Valpo or the jewel of the Pacific.
Finally, we will arrive at the mythical Yugoslavian promenade where the Baburizza Palace is located, which today houses the city's museum of fine arts and an interesting history behind it .
