Tour description

We will meet in front of the Maria Ibars Institute in Dénia. During this free tour, we will introduce you to the women who managed to change the course of history but were barely recognized in La Marina Alta.

To begin, we will start at the Maria Ibars Institute in Dénia to talk about the teachers who played such an important role in history.
We will continue walking to Nuestra Señora del Loreto where we will discover ecclesiastical women in the Middle Ages.

Walking through these streets, we will discover the history of some of the most relevant intellectuals from the 17th and 20th centuries.

Another of the stops that we will make throughout the free tour will be in front of the Dénia Town Hall , where we will emphasize the figure of María Cambrils.

We will continue speaking in feminine while we reach Plaça de la Creu. Who was Maria Ibars? Why was his role so important in history? We will reveal the names that are hidden behind these streets.
Finally , we will approach the port of Denia, an ideal place to talk about the stretchers of the Marina Alta.
With the feeling of having dusted off the history of many forgotten heroines, we will end the tour at the Anchor statue of the port.

We assure you that you will love everything that you will be able to discover in 2 hours :)
