Free walking tour, Santiago OFFBEAT with Wally! (5 Stars)

Duration: 2h and 45min
Languages: English
Registered on December 10, 2022

We are the Wallys and we have been enjoying showing the secrets of the city to friends from all over the world, ages, political and poetic visions for more than 10 years. We are a team of fans of the city, of street art, history and curious facts about our neighborhoods. We have received official awards, such as the most innovative tourist company in Chile and awards from friends, pets and ex-boyfriends, but that is another matter. We have a good time and we are professionals in what we do. Why are we the best tour in the city? Well, ask your hotel/hostel for the Wallis from Tours4Tips :)

Tour description

An offbeat walk where the only thing that will be to the beat is the sound of our feet.

Together we discover Santiago’s fresh fruit, veg, (and everything in between) market in La Vega Central.
Our feet bounce off the tourist path (like the General Cemetery) and we will interact with true Chilenos as they hustle over the capital city, tasting, smelling, bartering, and bantering.

Are you a traveler with an inkling of excitement and enthusiasm for culture? This tour will fill your inner desires. This is not your average tour! A tour where you should expect the unexpected and discover what it is like to be a Santiago local.

Charge your camera and slap on some sunscreen friends! A personal tour for life’s culture seekers.

Carlos was brilliant. Not only was the tour excellent and enriching, he also went out of his way to help me take cash out from western union after my bank cards were stolen earlier on in my trip. Carlos kindly liased with the worker in Spanish for me and without him I would have been screwed. He was brilliant!

One of my tours of the city was cancelled so I did this last minute. It was well worth it. The guides English was good. He conveyed great information about the city and Chile in general. The markets were cool and you can go eat food from different South American nationalities. The cemetery at the end is basically an open air museum and interesting to see.
