Visit the historic center of Lima, considered a World Heritage Site, and discover history and art with an expert. This time we propose another Lima, a very original and less visited and yet just as impressive.
we started knowing from outside one of the best museums in Lima: the Lima Art Museum -MALI- located in a building from 1872. The manufacture of its columns, made of iron and imported from Europe, is attributed to the Eiffel house.
We will continue through the Parque de la Exposición. It is a large natural space that also has historical monuments of great beauty such as the Chinese fountain, the Byzantine palace, the Gothic pavilion or the Palace of the Exposition today MALI.
Then we will walk through the Neptuno park where we will see the beautiful facade of the Museum of Italian Art, and we will continue through a modern shopping center where the old prison of Lima was once, full of macabre histories.
We will visit the beautiful Plaza Francia, and we will continue along Camaná street to meet the classic Lima bookstores that offer second-hand books. Then we will walk through the old Quilca street where we will see one of the oldest bars in Lima.
And, finally, we will end up in San Martín square , the second most important in Lima, full of stories and great monuments that I will tell you about.
