Hey :) My name is Sam and I moved to Washington, D.C. for work around year ago after growing up in Atlanta, Georgia.
I wanted to create a walking tour not only as a great way to teach people about this beautiful city, but also to continue connecting with people from all over the world.
Outside of work, my main hobbies include traveling, music, and history. I have been to 39 countries and have had diverse experiences, from running with the bulls in Spain to living on a kibbutz in Israel to riding a motorcycle across the entirety of Vietnam. Some of my other hobbies include running, eating, playing card games, hiking, surfing, and keeping up with the MLB and NFL.
Looking forward to meeting you all and showing you my beautiful city.

Tour description
As an experienced traveler who has explored more than 40 countries and a seasoned veteran of free walking tours, I understand what makes a walking tour truly riveting. I know you're interested in more than just the names of architects and random dates; you want to immerse yourself in the history of DC. Have you ever wondered whether the National Mall formerly had an airport or a canal? Or why a map of Washington DC resembles a rugged square? Join me for a tour of the monuments, and stay to uncover all the hidden secrets of Washington DC.
Some of the highlights include:
- The National Mall
- US Capitol*
- The White House*
