Hello Walker! 😎👋 My name is Raúl, nice to meet you! I am a tour guide accredited by ETOA (European tourism association). Born in Valencia (Spain) and with 8 years in Italy. 6 years as a tour guide experience. They say that an Erasmus scholarship changes a person's life, and boy did it change mine😅. I arrived in Italy in 2016 to complete my studies in Art History at the University of Padova, and later I did a master's degree in the same city. In Venice, it would be 6 years that I have been accompanying and showing what is for me the most beautiful city in all of Italy, and in my tours what I try to convey is the passion for art and history that I carry within me. And it has been more than 2 years living in the same city of Venice, so with me you will discover areas that only residents of the city know, outside of the hustle and bustle of the central streets of the city. It will be a pleasure for me to accompany you on your visit to Venice.
On the next tour we will visit the emblematic islands of Burano and Murano
The island of Burano is known for two hallmarks , its colorful houses and merletto . On the tour I will take you through the most local areas of the island to appreciate those most important colorful houses that many tourists miss.
Burano is where we will spend most of the free tour
The visit will culminate with the island of Murano where, apart from learning about its history, you will be able to see a live glass demonstration completely free of charge to you.
The tour includes time for taking photos and rest with FREE TIME in BURANO as it is a 4-hour free tour
VERY IMPORTANT
To carry out the activity you need to have the Vaporetto ticket, which can be for 24 hours, 48 hours or 72 hours, depending on what suits you best.
It costs €25, €35 and €45 respectively. With this ticket you can get on and off as many times as you want and move throughout the city of Venice.
Tickets can be purchased at kiosks, tobacconists or main vaporetto stations.
I recommend buying it directly in Venice, not online
I'll wait for you!
Meeting point: Campo san Giovanni and San Paolo. They will identify me with a guide accreditation and a guide flagpole with the flag of Venice
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
