We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Edouard. In addition to learning the history of Aix en Provence, we gained a deep sense of the culture of life here through the sharing Edouard provided us about his own life here and elsewhere. We deeply appreciated his openness and friendly style that conveyed much more than facts, and left us with a sense of connection and warmth. It’s a beautiful town to meander through, but the tour gave us a much greater sense of place and orientation on our first visit here. Highly recommend this guide!

Informative, professional, fascinating, fun. Benji also has great general knowledge and could answer all our questions, often with a bit of humour as well. A marvellous way to get to know Aix.

Aix-en-Provence: the Aixperience awaits you...

Edouard was an excellent guide-entertaining, informational, easy to interact with and told interesting historical facts and stories that made the tour more memorable. Everyone stayed in the group and appeared to be engaged and appreciative. We really appreciate his recommendation to visit Chateau LaCoste! We loved it and it made our Sunday. Thanks, Edouard!

Experience the Aixtour: In the footsteps of Cézanne

Edouard was animated and expressive with a solid body of knowledge. He paid attention to each of our group, making eye contact and ensuring we all could hear the stories. He was also aware of our whereabouts, gathering us back into our group when required. I did not follow up to determine what travel publications that Edouard has achieved. If appropriate would you please pass along my email address to him? Thanks. Gregory Smith.

The three of us joined Edouard’s tour during our short stay in Aix-en-Provence and really enjoyed it. We learned some interesting facts and explored areas we would not have discovered on our own. There was also time to walk around and take everything in. The time flew by. Highly recommend!
