Tour description

Budapest at night is truly an incredible sight. Light reflected from the beautiful buildings or the Danube River gives it a magical aura that makes it very different from when it’s seen during the day. On this tour, we check out all the main attractions: Gellert Hill with the Statue of Liberty, Royal Palace, Matthias Church, and Fishermen Bastion on the Buda side, Klotild Palaces,  Parizsi Udvar, Vigado, Gresham Palace, and St Stephen’s Basilica on the Pest side. We’ll see many statues, big and small, and historic bridges, led by the magnificent Chain Bridge. We’ll talk about everything: history, people, funny stories and facts, food and drinks… And then, there is the Parliament, the most incredible sight of them all!
Every tour is a bit different, depending on what participants are interested in the most and what they had done in Budapest before joining me. The goal is simple: that everybody enjoys the tour as much as possible!
The pace is relaxed, the atmosphere informal and friendly, suited for everybody. You'll get a lot of inside information, and recommendations about the best places to visit, restaurants, museums, bars, and thermal baths ...

This is a small group tour, don't expect a big crowd.

My tours are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all ages and abilities, with a focus on safety, comfort, and inclusivity. This is a small group tour. If you can't book for a certain day, message me and we'll figure out something.

Please come to the meeting point at least five minutes before the start of the tour. We leave promptly five minutes after the indicated starting time. If you are going to be late, please contact me and we'll figure out something.

Went on an evening walk with George. Thought it would be looking at all the beautiful buildings all lit up, and it was, and more. George took us through Budapest showing all the significant sites and treated us to the rumours and scandals as well as the history. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Would definitely recommend

I decided to book a visit of Budapest with George after a friend recommended him. Best decision in my opinion. As well as giving a deep and detailed explanation of Budapest's history, George also does it in a funny way and also gives visitors good tips for the city (where to eat, where to eat if you're veggie, what to do, what places are trendy, etc...) Thank you George 🙌
