This Coney Island walking tour will be an enriching and meaningful experience for all involved, as we will not only learn about the history of New York and Brooklyn, but also leave a positive mark on the marine environment through Beach CleanUp and promotion. of sustainable actions.

This tour is intended to inspire more people to take care of our planet while enjoying their visit to Coney Island!

Itinerary:

Meeting Point: We will begin our tour in a central point of Coney Island , where I will receive the participants and welcome them.
New York History : During the tour to the beach, I will tell you interesting stories about the founding and evolution of New York, highlighting its relevance as one of the main cultural and commercial centers of the world.
Brooklyn History: Arriving at Coney Island, we'll explore the rich history of Brooklyn and how this waterfront area has evolved over the years, from being an entertainment destination in the 19th century to becoming a popular spot for New Yorkers and tourists.
Environmental Impact on the Oceans: Here we will address the issue of environmental impact on the oceans, highlighting the importance of preserving these vital marine ecosystems for life on the planet.
Beach CleanUp: We will arrive at the beach and I will provide the participants with gloves and bags to begin our final activity: a Beach CleanUp. Together, we will collect garbage and waste that has been left on the beach, thus contributing to the cleanliness and conservation of the marine environment.
Actions to Take as Conscious Travelers: During the Beach CleanUp, we will discuss practical actions that travelers can take to be more environmentally conscious, such as reducing the use of disposable plastics, recycling correctly, and supporting local businesses and organizations that promote sustainability.
Closing of the Tour: We will conclude the tour by thanking the participants for their valuable contribution to the Beach CleanUp and reinforcing the importance of continuing to be conscious and responsible travelers with the environment.
