Nth Macedonia has a complicated, varied and fabulous history. I feel Aleksandra's qualifications & background in archeology meant we got the perfect deep-dive into all of it. She brought all the stories and events of Macedonia to life in an interesting way, as well as insight into how the current Macedonians view their country and their postion in modern Europe. She also gave tips and recomendations that we used. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide - her professionalism, friendliness & enthusiasm is a credit to the city of Skopje.

Of all the tour I did in my life, this one with Aleksandra was probably the best one ! You can definitly tell she's specialized in archeology/history, as she will provide you with a lot of informations about the history of the country and the city, including the stories of the buildings. She was able to answer all my questions, and you can tell she enjoys leading this tour as much as I envoyed listening to her!

Ο Vasko ήταν πάρα πολύ καλός ξεναγός, με πολλές γνώσεις για τους ανθρώπους και την ιστορία της πόλης. Τα αξιοθέατα που είδαμε ήταν πολύ ενδιαφέρον και είχαμε και την δυνατότητα να κάνουμε 15 λεπτά διάλειμμα σε ένα κεντρικό καφέ. Θα συνιστούσα το tour ανεπιφύλακτα! 🤗😁

Really interesting tour and Aleksandar was an excellent guide. I recommend spending a few minutes before your tour to do a quick overview of Macedonian history as Aleksandar is so knowledgeable and you’ll better appreciate all he is sharing. Highly recommend taking this tour!
