Tour description

The Ultimate Napoleon Tour!
See and hear the fascinating history of the Napoleonic Wars through this glorious historic walk! We’ll begin with some history of the British Army at Horse Guards with the regiment that captured an Imperial Eagle at Waterloo - then it’s on to Trafalgar Square to discuss the war at sea and four of the great naval battles of the Napoleonic Wars. Then it’s on to Waterloo Place, St.James’s Square, and Green Park, all of which have little-known connections to Napoleon. Then we’ll head to Hyde Park Corner to see the triumphal arch built for the Duke of Wellington, his equestrian statue, and his centrally placed London mansion. Then you’ll have the opportunity to continue on your own into Apsley House (which happens to have a 3.5 meter tall Napoleon statue) and/or the Wellington Arch museum.
