Alex was a fantastic guide, really bringing to life the history of the city which has such an interesting and surprising past! I loved that we visited parts which you wouldn’t get to see normally, and places of great interest and significance which you may just walk by with little notice! Alex was such a great story teller making the long history of London entertaining, interactive and easy to understand! I would recommend this tour if you are just visiting, but also if you have lived in London for years!

This is the second tour I’ve done with Alex (can also recommend his Thames walk!) and it didn’t disappoint. As a local, I really enjoyed learning more about the history of England and re-seeing sites I’ve walked by countless times with a new perspective and context! Given the breadth of the history, it’s a great intro tour to anyone visiting England or London for the first time - or for anyone planning to do their Life in the UK test. GREAT TOUR! This is the second tour of Alex’s that I’ve taken and I was so pleased that this one was just as good as the first. Alex takes you through the history of England clearly and concisely, using humour, pictures, and places of interest along the route that bring the story to life. I learned so much and got to visit some hidden gems which not many people know about, including an underground colosseum that I had no idea existed! I would highly recommend this tour.

Rob was great. Despite living in London, I learned something new and enjoyed the tour. It was well paced, entertaining and marked all important landmarks in that part of the city. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Best tour I ever had! Super interesting I learned a lot and got to see places I otherwise would have never gotten to. Robert was just great! He explained everything in detail made sure we understood and he was very funny as well! 10/10 would recommend when coming to London!

The tour was excellent. I feel like Robert took us through all the landmarks we would have seen on our own, but he was full of information we would never have discovered by ourselves. He introduced us to the history of the City of London brilliantly. He presented all the information clearly, in detail, and in an engaging way. He’s a fun guide, open to all questions, full of information and knowledge. He’s eager to share what he knows and point out the best spots. He’s easy to talk to, and we learned a lot about life in London, English habits, and culture. I highly recommend him to everyone! I cannot praise hime higly enough!

Robert delivered a very professional tour and showed us some new places in London. He tailored his information to the two young people in the group. There was a lot of information on war, more than I was perhaps expecting. Robert was very well researched and personable.
