La Paz: Morning Food Tour with Cable Car & Local Markets

Such a great experience! All the food we tried was excellent, and it was probably food that I would’ve passed up if not for the tour. We had a great time with Nico and in addition to being our food guide, he also provided a lot of information about the city. After the tour, we also received plenty of recommendations!

Nikko was my guide for the food tour, and although it was just me (the others that were supposed to show up canceled), it was a great time! He provided a lot of information around food and culture, and he answered all the questions I had. I not only had delicious food to try, I learned a ton about life in La Paz / Bolivia. After the tour, he sent a TON of suggestions as well. Highly recommend!

the tour is informative, especially for 1st timer in La Paz. it is not only eating the food. it is the food that connects with the people. each food that was chosen had a reason behind. to grade solely on the flavour of the food, i will say 5 out of 10 (0-10, where 10 is the best), but with the reason behind, the local culture behind, i would say the food taste 8 out of 10. 台灣人，港人，大陸人，廣大的華人，大家好。我是港仔，台灣仔及半個陸客，如果您是自由行又會聽講英文嘅話（的話）, 這個團推薦可以參加。主要是吃街邊小吃，但會講為什麼這個時間會吃，為什麼會吃，為什麼這個人會賣這個食物，經過講解後您會對這種這個國家有更深一層的認識。好似香港飲茶，台灣擔仔麵，大陸的包子等背後都有原因的。早上3小時，小費隨便給。喜歡就打賞多一點，不喜歡就少一點。正。

We loved our tour with Ramiro, he took us to food places and parts of the city that we would have never have found otherwise. It was great to try so many local spots and learn more about not just the food but La Paz and Bolivian culture. Ramiro speaks perfect English which really helped with any questions we had and explanations of the food. He also recommended lots of other places to try different foods and things to do whilst we were in La Paz. I would highly recommend going on this tour as you'll not only be supporting a smaller tour business in La Paz but a lovely selection of the kind street vendors. Muchas gracias Ramiro!
