Marrakesh Food Tour

Ahmed was very professional and provided very interesting information about marrakech and the way of living. He gives a good context of the city and its history and culture. He was very open about our questions and gave very informative explanations. Took us to places we otherwise couldn't visit.

very informative,ahmed knows and told us a lot about traditions, culture, politics and history! he showed us some really nice spots and interestibg alleys and buildings we would NEVER have found it on our own! the timing in the evening is also very nice when it is a warm day! we really recommend this tour!!

So glad I took this tour, we had a fantastic time, learned lots and got to try plenty of delicious food. We had an excellent group, Maafar was incredibly knowledgeable which made for great conversation over delicious meals. Places are clean and everything was well organised. You won’t go home hungry! We had such a good time we booked a different tour with Maafar the following day.

This is a must do tour with Maaffar entertaining, great food and lots of tips and information for eating and Moroccan culture whilst in Marrakesh.

Amoroso, pasional por marruecos, la comida riquisima, los lugares a donde fuimos super locales e imposible de encontrar sin el tour de Mafaar. Divertido, recomiendo!

Everything was amazing can definitely recommend this tour and I think everyone should do it to get to know Morrocco and a lot of aspects of the culture and history

I really liked the food tour! Honeslty i consider myself that i am a traveller, not a tourist so thats why i liked to see the non-tourist places! It was very very authentically ( morroco) in my opinion, but could be too real moroccan for some tourists… i really enjoyed and Maaffar is the best, it was a pleasure to meet him and the entire group of travellers! Great to hear about food and traditions and we got to taste a lot of food. It was like a full meal at the end of the evening. Delicious.

From start to finish this was an excellent walk. We were taken to several authentic Moroccan places to eat and each one served up delicious food . Hassan took a lot of time explaining each dish and origins of it also gave us information on the restaurant/ people too . Very informative and interesting thank you will recommend

Tour was excellent. Maaffar took us to places that we would never have found and we tried a good variety of local Moroccan cuisine. We learned a lot about the Moroccan culture through food and way of life, dating back to the Berber people. Maaffar was friendly and personable. Make sure that you arrive at this tour hungry! You won’t need to eat again afterwards. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour. We visited some very authentic places to eat I wouldn't find with the Guru. Plenty of food to eat too . Also get conversation about life in Morocco, the people , the customs, traditions etc

I had an amazing food tour in Marrakech with guide Houcine! He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Not only did he explain the food in great detail, but he also shared so much about Moroccan culture and history, which made the experience even more special. I learned a lot and felt truly immersed in the local way of life and the history of Morocco… Would highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Marrakech it’s an absolute must do!

What a wonferful way to spend my first evening in this magical city! I was fortunate enough to have Mafaar all to myself and what treats he had in store for me, completely off the tourist trail. Do yourself a favour and book one if his tours. You will not regret it!

This was an amazing food tour! An absolute must-do if you have the chance. He showed us the best places to have local food and at the beginning of the food tour he said it was the best food we were going to eat in Marrakesh and it truly was!
