Free walking tours in Oaxaca

Walking tour with Arturo was fab! Not just food but history, culture and art too. We only needed up being able to do one tour and this was totally the best for the pair of us. There we only two of us on it (so was basically a private tour). Learned about how a lot of the traditional food is made here and we’re also able to sample some of these dishes. We hadn’t explored Jalatlaco much so this was the perfect opportunity to do so! Would recommend this tour to anyone in Oaxaca!

Leo was great! He covered a lot of different topics, spoke not only about the history but also about the current situation in Mexico. He was both fluent in English and Spanish and very easy to understand. He went out of his way to explain everything, the tour went even longer than described and we learned a lot. Would go on a tour with him again anytime!

What an amazing tour! We saw some incredible murals and really got to understand the meaning behind each one and the spirit of the neighbourhood. Very entertaining and a great way to explore a different aspect of the city.

Loved my tour with Julio, he really knew his stuff! With this tour you were able to see all the main sites but I also felt like you got a good understanding of local culture and a few off the beaten path things. Also this is a tour that’s not run by a big touring agency so you really feel like you are supporting something more local

Fernanda was awesome! She had great energy, was extremely knowledgeable and we loved her stories. We now have a much better appreciation of the history of the murals and artists. I highly recommend this walk when in Oaxaca. Especially if you enjoy art. Jalatlaco is such a vibrant cute neighborhood with a much calmer vibe. Loved it!

This was the best walking tour we did in Mexico. Farid was amazing and explained everything to us about art and also history. He was very nice and we exchanged a lot of information about each other's culture and realized how similar we all are. I highly recommend this tour for the great art and amazing vibes.
