Welcome! As an architect and guide , I can tell you that Amsterdam has a vast Old Town that's impossible to explore in even a couple of months. That's why I'm proud to offer three tours of different parts of the city; all of them HIGH QUALITY and highly rated. My tours aren't always available, as my professional work is demanding, and I offer them when time permits.

The TOUR

On this “FUNDAMENTAL” tour we will understand the foundations of Amsterdam, and for that I have carefully chosen each point of the excursion so that you can enjoy and understand this spiral-like city, we will pass through narrow medieval streets and also walk its splendid canals and palaces, which will fill you with life and history with its characters, such as Rembrandt in Art or the passage of German troops in World War II, we will take a great tour seeing a lot of architecture, houseboats and unmissable iconic places. There is a lot to see in Amsterdam, also called “The Venice of the North” and which was the greatest power in Europe in the Merchant Navy, we will see its houses crooked by the centuries, the three X's, the idiosyncrasy of its people and a world of topics that you will certainly enjoy. We will support the story with sheets that will make the walk even more entertaining. We will learn to read a city when we see it for the first time and thus make the most of a trip. This excursion is to CULTIVATE OURSELVES and HAVE A GREAT TIME, like when we walk with friends. If we have the desire and time, we will go for a coffee or a beer afterwards . The idea is to have a great time on an unforgettable walk .

• Damrak : Origin of the city: From the swamp and mud, Amsterdam was born into the world 750 years ago.

∎ Royal Palace of Amsterdam: Represents the enormous power of the Netherlands in commerce during the Golden Age of Europe.

• Courts , place of beheadings and hangings 17th century.

∎ ANNE FRANK , HOUSE-MUSEUM: The Frank Family Shelter: Holocaust, deportations, hiding places, winter of hunger and the horror of the Nazi occupation in World War II.

• ex- Amsterdam Post Office - Beautiful 19th century mansion.

WhatsApp is essential to stay in touch in case of a last minute problem or if you are late, and I will send you a map in real time. Check that your phone can connect to WhatsApp.

• Reservations : There is a limit of 4 people per reservation, split reservations from the same group are not accepted, reservations of 5 participants or more must pay a suggested basic contribution of €14 per person.

• Punctuality : Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the tour, to depart on time, as sometimes there are people who have to return to the airport or the train after finishing the tour.

• Waiting time : 5 extra minutes. Anyone who doesn't notify or doesn't arrive after the extra minutes have passed allows me to hand over the spot to other tourists.

• Accidents : Each participant is responsible for their own physical integrity on the streets during the tour, as well as for any accident, fall or unforeseen event that affects their health. Therefore, it is suggested to have their health insurance policies in force.

🔴 SUGGESTIONS 🔴

• Do not book or sign up for another activity at least one hour after the tour ends to recharge your batteries and allow time to get to the next activity in a relaxed manner without clashing schedules.

• Check the weather forecast, wear appropriate clothing for cold or heat, sun protection, and an umbrella or raincoat, if the weather warrants it.
