Free Tour of Dresden: Its History Through Its Buildings

My name is Alejandro and I am pleased to offer to guide you through the history, culture, and architectural beauty of this fascinating city.

During our tour, as we stroll through its cobblestone streets, we will explore the most emblematic places of Dresden.

We will start at Schlossplatz square and then continue to Theaterplatz where architectural gems like the Semper Opera House and the majestic Hofkirche Cathedral are located. I will tell you the fascinating history of these buildings, and how they have managed to withstand the test of time.

We will continue our journey to the splendid Zwinger Palace, a masterpiece of Baroque art.

And then, as we walk through its streets, we will pass by the largest porcelain mosaic in the world, "The Procession of Princes." We will end at Dresden's Neumarkt, where the history of the Frauenkirche will explain the bombing of Dresden.
