If you enjoy the beauty of architectural details, I invite you to explore them together, one by one. Each building has a rich history that you'll be interested in learning about.
All of them make this city a true open-air art exhibition.
I suggest you join me for a 3.5-kilometer walk, so we can feel like locals for the time it takes to get to know it.
You will appreciate at every step what it is like to live here.
If you enjoy beautiful architecture, come explore with me and my friend Ramona!
Each building has a unique story, and together we'll uncover them one by one.
What are we going to visit?
We'll depart from Escadaria Selarón. The gates to the neighborhood known for its bohemian style, the famous Lapa Arches, are very close by. The São Sebastião Cathedral is just a short walk away.
Depending on the time and pace of the group, we can go as an Extra to the Municipal Theater, the most beautiful in Brazil .
There's another Surprise nearby :)
Tiradentes Palace is 15 minutes away, and as another bonus, in front of it is the Church of the Carmo da Antiga Sé, and a few meters away is the Banco Brasil Cultural Center. We quickly pass by the Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora da Candelária to finally walk the last 15 minutes to the highlight of the tour: the majestic Museu do Amanhã.
It will be your turn to give your opinion and I will be interested in reading your comment.
I hope you are interested in taking a look at the proposed sites, which will undoubtedly win you over even more with this “maravilhosa city”.
