On this walk of barely two hours, we don't delve into the history of Santillana, but rather into its inner history, those small, great stories, those curious anecdotes that build the great edifice of History.
Every year, tens of thousands of tourists stroll through the town's cobbled streets, captivated by the unique beauty of its houses, convents, towers, palaces, and, of course, its collegiate church.
They walk immersed in this atmosphere that transports them to another time, to another world, admiring every detail, every coat of arms, every stone... and they leave impressed by the unique beauty of this town.
But they have only seen the stage of the play.
They are unaware of the fascinating story that was played out on this stage over the course of twelve centuries, during which intrigues, deceptions, battles, betrayals, romances... took place, and which we will learn and unravel throughout this tour.
A walk in which you will enjoy, learn, be surprised, and laugh.

Next to the doctor's office and across from a large cobbled parking lot, there's a large, tree-lined park with swings, Campo de Revolgo. Between the parking lot and the park, you'll easily find a green gazebo. Next to it is a stone fountain with a carved goat on its forehead. This will be our meeting point, where I'll be waiting for you. You'll be able to recognize me by my brown leather backpack. There are several parking lots around the park where you can park.
