We'll explore politics at the Parliament Buildings (history, 1916 fire, Confederation), and the Senate of Canada Building, learning how French/English cultures, Indigenous heritage, and immigration shaped our complex nation.

Next, we'll visit the National War Memorial, honoring Canada's valiant efforts in world wars and beyond. Discover Ottawa's vibrant side: explore the historic ByWard Market (est. 1827), uncover city quirks, and admire the National Arts Centre (1967). I'll share top photo spots and give local recommendations, including how to enjoy different Ottawa neighbourhoods. Our journey ends at the ByWard Market Ottawa Sign. I'll answer all your questions!

The tour will be meeting at the entrance of the Bank of Canada Museum on the intersection of Wellington Street and Bank Street. You can find me wearing a grey backpack, a red cap that says OTTAWA and a Hawaiian red shirt.
