Born and raised in Uppsala its a city that just seems to drag me back. And for a good reason. I am an avid traveler who more then anything is interested in people and the world we inhabit. I belive that history becomes relevant when reflected upon its relation to the current day. With this I will try to be open regarding my own biases and always ask you to put on your critical thinking hat. I am a bit quirky and love a good quiz or a game.

Tour description

This will be a crash course on the city of Uppsala and the people who live in it. A city of science, religion and drunk students. Uppsala has a lot to offer, no matter if you are just passing by to see the Nordic region's largest cathedral or you're becoming a student here. My goal will be to guide you through our history and culture, proving that we are not as boring as we seem. It's a difficult task I know.

We will be working our way downhills, starting at the castle, discussing Uppsalas dark past and its fascinating present. History and culture will be used to discuss the current day Swede and what stereotypes just might be true. I also believe that tours are a social experience and will invite you to interact with me as well as each other.

I am doing this as a hobby. I look forward to meeting you!
