Gramercy Park + Chelsea ; Art & Architecture : Urban History

Have you done all the tourist trail tours?   This more off the beaten path tour slices through downtown East to West where we can witness the urban transformation from Gilded Age neighborhood to artist takeover to modern revitalization. 

We will begin at the quiant early Gilded Age neighborhood Gramercy Park and viist the eras famous shopping district ¨Ladies Mile", the famous Flat Iron building and Madison Square Park. 

We will then dive into the Chelsea neighborhood, bordered by Hells Kitchen to the north and West Village to the south, the Chelsea neighborhood is a true mash up of New York City history from art deco gems to artist hang out.  We will visit the Chelsea Art Gallery neighborhood and the Highline.  We will visit one art gallery.
