Essential Free walking tours of Zagreb

Travelling with Marina was like going for a walk with your friend who you haven't seen for years. She is very knowledgeable and provides a laid-back experience. Going at your own pace, but being sure to see the highlights. At the end she lets you know about other aspects of the city that you haven't seen on the tour. I have been on many of these tours and it was good to have one with a local (as opposed to someone who is just obsessed with the city)

Mirjana was an excellent guide! She is very engaging and provided a great combination of interesting history and Croatian legends. The tour stopped at all of the places I wanted to go and even though it was 2.5 hours long it felt like a great length. She was also mindful of the sun and always tried to find us a shady place to stand while she talked. She was available for questions afterwards and provided recommendations in Zagreb. Mirjana clearly enjoys her job and I benefitted! I highly recommend her tour.

I learned so much! Being my first ever visit to Zagreb, I really appreciated the historical context Nikolina provided and the breadth of the tour. Most of all, I loved her personal stories and the way she embodied the warmth and irreverence of the Croatian people.
