Essential Free walking tours of Zürich

Was a wonderful and informative tour. I really enjoyed the history mixed with stories and recommendations. I took a bit ill towards the end and the tour guide made sure I got back safely.

Lincoln was funny, warm, knowledgeable and very engaging. Great pace and easy walk.

Santiago was very engaging and shared much insightful information to help us understand Zurich. It was very thoughtful of him to give each of us an earpiece so that we could hear him clearly as he spoke. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very nice locations and walking tour. We expected more information and a better storytelling. Also the guide was very nice, funny and polite but we suggest a louder voice scale as we would barely hear her Overall I would suggest it to get to know Zurich but more historical facts and better explanation should be added.

Santiago is a very friendly and helpful guide. He uses ear pieces so that he can continue to talk to the group even when walking , so we can learn even more about the city. We began by going up in the funicular- those of us without transport tickets were able to buy them quickly. We had a baby with a buggy and he made sure that we could manage the terrain. There were only a few steps that we had to lift it down. We were able to get it into the front of the Funicular. We had a beautiful cold day in the city and were able to see beautiful views at the same time as learn a lot. A great walk!

Santiago was the perfect tour guide, kind, informative, entertaining, funny and overall great. The tour was so great that the only negative thing about it was that it didn’t last longer. Would have loved to see even more of Zurich. Keep it up Santi!

We missed the info about the dogs, and also maybe a longer explanation about the biggest clock, and the number 4 of Swiss watches. The rest was fenomenal! We will repeat for sure

We had a great time and got so much information from this tour! We did the tour on the first day of our trip and kept referring back to things Martin had shown us throughout the rest of our trip. No fountain, clock tower, or bricks were safe from our group as we turned it into a competition amongst ourselves. I honestly didn't even notice the time flying by and that it was the end of our tour until we got to the last stop.

Excellent tour, informative and engaging thanks to the guide who has 12 years experience. Would highly recommend this lady formerly from Greece but living in Switzerland a long time. Bring cash to reward the professional guide as did not have a card machine with her, although tour ends near an ATM and (conveniently) 5 mins walk from Zurich HB train station,

The walk with Timothy was great. He is very passionate and fun, and helped me discovered one of the hidden jewels in Zurich. For anyone interested in an unusual view of the city, don't hesitate to book this tour!

It was a night walk through the less travelled region of Zurich. As it was only myself and my daughter on the tour we took the time to have a beer at the oldest bar in Zurich with our host! It was great that he made the time for us to do this and the beer was delicious (but can’t remember the name of the bar). He walked us back to a main tram station so we could get back to our hotel. 5 stars.

Santiago was a great guide, he even provided us with earpieces so that we could all hear him. His route was great and also helped us with using the other public transport in the city. His tour had a great mix of history and current life in Zurich.

We would recommend this tour for extra information including the working opportunities in the city
