Rubin was incredibly knowledgeable of his nation's history. I appreciated the depth of his research on the progression of South Africa's journey to a free democratic society. The walk was gentle and easy for all ages. Rubin gave us time to survey our surroundings. He developed a walk that covered the main details in a quadrant of Capetown that was rich in human culture. This tour complimented my visit to the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg. If you are keen to see more than animals and learn more about South African people, this is a worthwhile experience. Thank you, Rubin for a unique walking tour.

If you are interested in history, Nathan is your guy. It’s not just that he has deep knowledge of the history of South Africa, it’s that his thinking and story telling is organized and explained without overwhelming detail. He makes it possible to really learn and understand how modern South Africa came about, with the right level of detail. At 2.5 hours the tour is a little long, but you see and cover a ton. I feel like I left the tour with a solid understanding of the core framework of South African history from colonization through the end of apartheid. Very engaging and interesting tour. Recommend.

Nathan was kind enough to open a morning walking tour just for my group of 6 as we had to rush off for a lunch appointment at 1pm. He is very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting facts about the history of South Africa, the apartheid & how things have changed in Cape Town over the years.

We had a tour with Nathan who brought us around the main corners of the city center while explaining us the recent history of South Africa. We gained a deep knowledge of the progressive historical steps which brought to apartheid and the conseguences of this segration nowadays. Nathan was exhaustive and passionate and we lost the track of time. He also suggested us some tiny places to visit and South African dishes to taste. Highly recommended for those how want to plunge into history of Cape Town and South Africa in general.

We enjoyed this tour as a starter to visit the Cape Town City bowl. Cyprian is a very passionate guide, good storyteller and you can see that he really wants visitors to have an honest image of the city and its culture. It was an informative tour with a personal twist. His experience with the city and the local life in Cape Town was an asset to the tour. Thank you Cyprian!

RUSHDI gave us an interesting and informative tour of Cape Town. Allowed us to truly understand the diversity of the City with insights that only a local would know. Far more than a walking guide book experience. Rushi himself is articulate, amusing yet professional. Very highly recommended and if we had more time we would seek him out again.
