Essential Free walking tours of Cape Town

It was a very informative tour that really immersed us in history. He made it very interesting, and we got to see a lot of great places.

Nathan was an absolute pleasure to spend an afternoon exploring Cape Town with. He is clearly so passionate about what he does and a wealth of information, recommendations, and insights. He was kind enough to still hold the tour even though I was the only participant- which was such a treat because I got to not only experience a private tour but have candid conversations and really dive in to Cape Town and Sorh Africa’s history; as well as Nathan’s lived experience. Loved this tour. We got a lot of information regarding the colonialism and path towards democracy. Rubin was a pleasant storyteller, who also made me feel safe in this big city. Would for sure recommend doing this walking tour!

Nathan provided a customized experience for my friend and I. We got a fulsome history lesson of Capetown and South Africa. We also met some local shop owners and had a chance to sample some food. Nathan was respectful and well known in the neighborhood, and this was the perfect experience to start our Capetown visit. He made us feel safe and confident in navigating the area. Would gladly have another walking tour with him as he has a lot to share.

We liked that did several stops and Bukiwe, who is a super nice and professional, guided us throughout the history and places of Cape Town in a very entertaining way. Nathan made the tour incredibly interesting with a deep insight into historical details and anectdotes-spanning 300 years. We loved that he knew so many of the local people in the streets! If you have a stop over make sure you book these 3hrs with him as amazing giude.
