Arnold is very knowledgeable and guided three of us through downtown of Cape Town. He helped us understand the culture and history much better and could cater for our curiosity with detailed answers. I would recommend a tour with him.

We had such a brilliant time exploring Bo-Kaap with our guide. He was incredibly lovely, full of enthusiasm, and so knowledgeable about the history, culture, and stories of the area—it really brought the neighbourhood to life. We also got to try some local delicacies, which was a real highlight and added to the authenticity of the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic tour and we came away having learnt so much. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cape Town.

I struggled to hear at times although only 2 people on the tour, the areas visited can be noisy but 1 area was near the arch/slave museum there were a gentleman at a stall shouting which the guide appeared to know/did gesture to him but I expected they might have been quiet during the time we were there but unfortunately not. - therefore isn’t a reflection on the guide but would struggle to hear in general if a bigger group.

Arnold was an OUTSTANDING walking tour leader and made our time in Cape Town truly unforgettable. Rubin was excellent and provided a thorough summary of South African political history.

Rubin was excellent! Highly recommend. 2.5 hour through Cape Town and South African history starting with pre colonial times, through colonialism, apartheid, Democracy and all the way through recent current events. Rubin is very knowledgeable about it, and lived through the most recent history. Eye opening experience! Highly recommend Rubin and the tour!

The Bo-Kaap tour with Bridget was absolutely fantastic! We learned so much about the history and culture of the area. Her additional tips for the rest of our stay were also incredibly useful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cape Town!

Excellent tour on Colonialism and the journey to democracy in South Africa by Rubin. Very knowledgeable, friendly, inclusive, happy and able to answer questions or take in comments made. Hugely enjoyable 2 hour wak in a small area even as a bonus taking in the Company's gardens.

A must tour with Nathan! He confirmed the tour even though there were only 3 people. He made sure to find a way to connect with everyone, sharing the stories of Capetown that resonated with each of us.

Cyprian is an experienced and engaging guide who connects effortlessly with people from all over the world. The route was well planned and paced, and time was managed smoothly throughout the walk. A few more seated spots for short breaks during storytelling would make the experience even more comfortable, and additional visual materials could help bring the stories to life even further. Highlighting a few more local gems along the way - such as great, affordable food spots or places with live music - would also add a nice local flavour. We did enjoy stopping by a local pop-up market, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a good experience and we’d happily recommend this walk.

Cyprian was a great guide to the city providing us with lot of history facts as well as answering all our questions. I’d would recommend to take this tour to understand a bit better the city if it’s your first time here.

Do yourself a favour and book this trip with Cyprian. So knowledgeable and passionate about the subject matter. Also great sense of humour. Learnt so much very thought provoking would highly recommend this gentleman.

Cyprian was incredible! Would recommend maybe adding a couple of stops in the city centre or perhaps a list of recommendations or must-see (attractions, restaurants, places around or out of the city) for people coming for the first time.

Nathan shares his vast knowledge of South Africa’s history enthusiastically. And although I lived in Cape Town for many years I still learned many interesting facts about the Bo-Kaap. We liked his personal stories and were introduced to several locals we met on our way. We loved the little treats. Thank you for an informative and fun morning.
