Essential Free walking tours of Fes

It was perfect. No unnecessary stops. We learned a lot about the city and Maroccen life. The guide answered all our questions. Would highly recommend the Tour.

Fantastic walking tour of Fez. Abderahheim did an amazing job! Shared lots of local history, culture and (thank goodness) tips on walking through the city’s maze. Fez is a very unique place and I’m extremely pleased with this tour. I took another Guruwalk tour in Fez that was not nearly as good and was mostly a shopping trip to his friends places. This was nothing like that at all. Bravo Abderahheim!

It was just a magnificent experience with lots of variety and totally off the usual track through small alleys but also getting back occassionally to the must see highlights: Like tannery, maddrassa, woodcraft museum, weaving demonstration. These were all optional, no pressure at any point to do or buy anything. Lots of information from a very knowledgable guide. Very well organised, relaxed and entertaining

The tour was amazing. As proposed we did not shopping, but saw a lot of interesting parts of the Medina of Fes. Even parts that are not among the "normal" tourist places.

We saw Fes through his eyes. He delivered was he promised, we saw, felt, smelt and tasted Fes. The tour lasted longer as planned, and still he had time after the tour to answer out questions. The chicken rafissa (which he recommended) the tastiest thing I have ever tasted in marokko.

You can not miss this tour! This was one of the best Free-Walking-Tours I have ever been on. Abelali took his time (almost 4 hours!) was knowledgeable and happy to teach us. He hab great answers for every question and showed us so many places we would have never found on our own. Can not recommend enough!

Without Zakaria we would never have found these hidden gems in the Medina. He took us to different shops, a mosque where we could enter and many other places while telling interesting facts about Morocco, Fes and the market. He also let us try some samples of bread, fruit and cookies without pushing to buy something. Would recommend taking this tour 100%! Thank you!

Zakaria was great - we hit the highlights of Fes and were entertained along the way. He shared information about the sights and about life in Morocco generally. And he had some experts step in - at tannery, weaving, spices. Plus we enjoyed some pastries and fruits

Tolle Tour mit nettem Guide. Wir haben alle wichtigen Orte der Medina gesehen und uns wurden viele interessante Informationen zu Marokko und dem Leben in Fes gegeben.

Abdul (a retired linguistics teacher) was just superb in his knowledge, finnesse and style in what was a very busy Medina. I would want no other guide! There's no question he could not answer. It was truly fun and we learnt a lot about Medina history, architecture and life. Just fantastic!

Staf was a great guide! Very kind and informative, we were taken to all the significant places in the Medina and led us through the narrow streets. He gave advice to stop us getting lost in future and the historical, cultural and economic importance of the architecture. We stopped in a couple places where there was the opportunity to buy something, but we didn't feel the need and just left afterwards. The herbalist pharmacy was particularly cool! My one note would be the restaurant he recommended at the end. The building was gorgeous and you would never find it yourself, and the food was ok - the starters were great, but the main was a little disappointing and the fruit salad was just some apples, grapes and bananas on a plate - but overall it was pretty expensive compared to what you can get from most other places. 30MAD for a 2 litre bottle of water, and 20 for a glass of orange juice!
