Fes Food Tour

Mostafa told us and taught us a lot about the medina in Fez. It was a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it. Unfortunately, they do try to sell things during the walk, but that's not mandatory. It's a waste of time that could otherwise be spent learning other interesting facts.

Stof nos hizo ver la Medina con una perspectiva muy completa, nos explicó muchas cosas y nos ayudó a no perdernos. Recomiendo hacer el tour el primer día que llegas para moverte por allí como un auténtico local. El tour en español es una maravilla, él estuvo viviendo varios años en Málaga y domina el idioma perfectamente. Sin duda, un guía oficial muy recomendable para enamorarse de la ciudad antigua de Fez.

Mostafa’s tour is absolutely a must do when you come to Fes! He’s knowledgeable about Fes’s history and welcomes your questions with a kind smile. We were only two people in our round and that allowed him to show us even the tiniest corners! The tour was given in Italian. After the tour you will see Fes with different eyes!

Stoff is fluently multilingual, patient and observant. He kept an eye on all of us the entire time (very important while you are in the thick of the Medina). He switched between languages with ease and told us all these tit but anecdotes about the place which is exactly what we were hoping for! Each person gets their own earpiece so you can follow along with ease which was not the case with a lot of other tour groups. 10/10 recommend! He does what he loves with no expectations and that what makes it so special!

The information and communication were good overall. However, we didn’t really enjoy being part of such a large group (more than 20 people) and having the tour in two languages (Italian and English). It felt like the Italian group was given more attention, and the English-speaking group was a bit left out. In the narrow streets, the earphones often lost signal, so we missed parts of the explanation. Also, we spent way too much time at the spices shop, where the prices were clearly higher than in the local market. It kind of felt like the guide was getting a nice commission from the sales, which might explain the long stop.

We loved this walk and we felt we learned a lot. Stof was patient in explaining in both English and Spanish. He came prepared with headphones so we could easily hear him. I was hesitant of this tour as our guru walk in Marrakesh and Rabat were cancelled. We were glad this one took place.

Tour di tre ore all'interno della medina di Fes in ottima compagnia! La nostra guida è stata cordiale, gentile e super precisa nelle spiegazioni! Consiglio questo tour per chi ha poco tempo per visitare la città, in poche ore si riesce a percepire la cultura e la tradizione del paese. La guida parla più lingue e cerca di soddisfare tutte le richieste.

Amazing tour of the Medina, with many fun facts and some more visits of the Berber pharmacy and of a view on a tannery ! Excellent and friendly guide, thank you so much!

The guide is very knowledgeable and kept talking in a fast pace, sometimes I don't catch as I'm not very familiar with the local Islamic culture, but he is very patient to elaborate the detail's until I understand. He is friendly to answer all your questions and also gave good recommendation to go to highest point in the mountain to see the Fez city. Definitely recommended!

Stof was a great guide, took us around for around 3 hours and shared many useful information on Morocco and their heritage and culture

Excellent tour. Great history and fun cultural facts and stories. It was very crowded and a large group so the personal headphones were quite helpful in hearing everything and keeping the group together. He took us to a fabulous and reasonably priced restaurant after the tour. A hidden gem that we never would have found otherwise.

Wir haben alle ein Headset bekommen durch die uns auf Englisch und italienisch die Fakten erklärt wurden. Ich hätte mir mehr Interaktion mit der Gruppe gewünscht. Durch die Headsets fand ich es leider sehr unpersönlich.

We had a really nice time doing this tour. Stof knows a lot of interesting things to tell about the medina, the history of it and stories from now. It’s amazing to see all the bustling from the medina with a tour.
