Excellent tour ! The pace is very easy, and the route of the tour is well made. The guide is funny and has great knowledge of the island. This tour is a must if you want to get informed about the culture and the history of Madeira!

The two and a half hours flew by. Eduardo’s charming and honest way of telling his stories about Madeira made it a joy to listen to him. I would recommend his tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Madeira, its people and how to avoid falling into the TripAdvisor trap. His recommendations are detailed and allow you to move of the beaten path. I would even go so far as to call him the Cristiano Ronaldo of free walking tours 😉

Eduardo was very knowledgeable about Funchal, his love of the place is very evident! He was also very engaging with the group and made the 2.5 hours pass really fast. He also gave us some useful tips for our stay. Highly recommended tour!

Gabriel is smart, personable and speaks quite clearly. He can be engaging and funny but not at the expense of getting his view of Madeira and Funchal over.
