Beatrice gave us so much unexpected information.... I hadn't realised about the issues surrounding how the town transformed from a farming community into a local tourist hub as a result of all the farmers being displaced & disinherited buy the building of the dam that flooded their farms . . . YOU will LOVE this tour. Beatrice' grand fathers have lived experience of the transformation to tourism & loss if their traditional farming livelihoods. Beatrice was able to share their experiences!!

Absolutely loved the tour! I’m sorry we forgot out tour guide’s name but she was born and raised in Guatape, giving us a candid and detailed history of the town of Guatape. It gave so much more meaning to our visit and we loved being able to understand the beauty of the zocalos! HIGHLY recommend
