Helpful to orient oneself to the city and learn some useful facts about guayaquil!

When Juan told me to look for a person with a black backpack I laughed because every other person has one. For example, Our previous Guru had a red hat, another a yellow umbrella. This tour was kind of unnecessary because we started at the Iguana park, walked across to the church, thru city hall&along the river walk which you do not need a guide to do.

Juan is very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy the tour and his insight.

This is my first time in Ecuador; extremely happy Juan was my guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, personable and patient as I sometimes lagged behind the group, taking pictures and reading inscriptions. He also offered to show me the way back to my hotel as it was getting late and I found out Uber was sometimes unreliable; he did this at no extra charge. Had a great time with Juan. It was just the two of us and he still showed me all the great spots. Learned a lot about this city thanks to him. He also waited for my Uber with me which was very kind of him.

Juan took me on a great tour of Guayaquil. We visited all the sites mentioned in the itinerary. We also walked the Malecón 2000 boardwalk when seeing the Moorish clock tower and the Hemiciclo de la Rotonda. All are must-sees if you visit Guayaquil. After the tour, Juan recommended a café, Sweet & Coffee, in the Malecón where I had the most delicious cappuccino. I had to order a second one! I even bought a bag of their coffee beans! Although the tour was great, Juan's English needs to improve, especially vocabulary. I was able to follow along as I know some Spanish and speak French fluently.

Juan ist sehr höflich und bedacht darauf, dass die Gruppe zusammenbleibt. Allerdings ist sein Englisch ausbaufähig um bessere Gespräche aufbauen zu können. Dann könnte man mit mehr Informationen aus der Tour herausgehen. Die besuchten Orte waren schön- nur hätten wir auch da mehr Informationen benötigt.
