All Guru tours have been very good, but Bertrand had an outstanding route in Lyon and answered our extra questions (like how did “Part Dieu” get named?) his love of Lyon is evident, and he brought a lot of humor and charm when telling us what to try and what places to skip (Paris for example!) The covered passageways were really cool. I’ve been to Lyon several times for work with really dedicated Lyonnaise coworkers, but Bertrand taught us a lot about the city and its Roman and Renaissance past that ai did not yet know. I did know some of the Roman parts, and Bertrand was quite accurate on the parts I do know.

Eddie Santiago was a superb guide. Very knowledgeable on the city history, culture and places to see and friendly as well. The route of the tour was comprehensive covering most of the main sights and leaving you wanting to see more.

Axel è una guida molto preparata e nello stesso tempo è un ragazzo molto simpatico che riesce a rendere piacevole ed interessante il tour. An absolute highlight of my time in Lyon! Our tour guide, Emre, was incredibly entertaining and made the whole experience so interesting with his fun stories and insights. It was very clear that Emre put an immense amount of preparation into the tour; the visual documents he provided were exceptionally helpful and added a fantastic extra layer to everything he showed us. By the time it came to an end, every single person left feeling absolutely thrilled—you could easily see the joy and satisfaction in everyone's eyes and smiles. Emre is a fantastic guide, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Free Tour: “DISCOVERING OLD LYON”

Met Paul in the Square at the agreed time. He introduced himself and the tour started on time. He was extremely knowledgeable about Lyon and had pictures to illustrate various points. He made the 2 hours very interesting and entertaining and showed us things we wouldn’t have found on our own e.g. Traboules (passageways). It was quite a large group but I didn’t feel we missed anything because of the size. He also gave some recommendations of where & where not to eat. It was great and well worth the tip at the end.
