Mari was an incredible guide and made my walking tour of Guadalajara one of the highlights of my trip. From start to finish, she brought the city’s history to life with fascinating stories, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for Guadalajara. What I appreciated most was how knowledgeable she was. She seemed to know everything about the city, yet she presented the information in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Mari has such a warm, welcoming personality. She always had a big smile on her face and made me feel comfortable and spending a few hours with her felt like exploring the city with a friend. She also gave excellent local recommendations. She suggested a birria spot in the nearby market, and it was honestly some of the best birria I’ve ever had. One of my favorite unexpected moments was riding the merry-go-round together at the end of the tour. It was such a fun and joyful experience that brought out our inner child and made the day even more memorable. If you’re visiting Guadalajara, I highly recommend taking a tour with Mari. She’s knowledgeable, kind, entertaining, and truly passionate about sharing her city with others.

Mary is a very knowledgeable and cheerful guide with a very nice energy. Not only she was very informative, but she very well managed switching between English and Spanish as our group was mixed. We spent together more than 2 hours and went to eat in a local market that is not touristy at all, the people were amazing and the food was great! All her recommendations were amazing! Totally recommended!! ☺️

Excellent tour with a very enthusiastic guide with good English, Mari. The ride on the carousel was fun and the final stop at the market for Birria (Jalisco beef stew with crunchy beef bits) and jericalla (Guadalajara dessert much like creme brûlée) was well timed (we were hungry) and absolutely delicious.

Tour guide was excellent, but the tour was book as gastronomical and historical. Unfortunately our tour ran way overtime partly due to a stranger joining in and speaking Spanish to the Guide on an English tour . He dominated our time I felt .maybe the guide could have detoured this interloper. The locations visited and information was excellent.over all

Mari es un wexcoente guía! Fue muy divertida y amable, nos llevó a a lugares super padres y disfrutamos mucho el tour, lo hizo en español e inglés para las personas que estaban con idioma mixto. Fue súper agradable y puntual

This was an excellent tour of some of the major public squares and buildings in the Centro Historico area. I enjoyed the history, photos, and storytelling that Sandra shared. It was well-paced and not too tiring. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed with information. We had a chance to see some murals by the famous painter Jose Clemente Orozco. At the end, we enjoyed a lunch at Mercado Alcalde, probably the nicest market I’ve been to in Mexico. It was a small group so we had a chance to connect. I recommend this tour as an introduction to downtown Guadalajara.

Excellent tour of the historic centre. Our guide brought pictures to show us then & now. He answered questions. Very interesting. We ended the tour at the oldest market in the city. We ate lunch at his favourite taco place. Very delicious. Great tour!

Excellent tour! Maybe ( for its importance) the visit of Hospicio Cabañas should be included! Very dynamic guide! The suggestion for lunch to taste in Berria at the local market was highly appreciated!

Highly recommend got to see things that we would have never even known about. Professional Guide was able to navigate and give us detailed history.

Checo was thorough and easy to talk to and ask questions. His tour is an art/history -forward style. We stopped at the end for lunch at his family’s torta shop in the big Mercado. Don’t miss it! Vegetarian options!
