The tour was very informative and surprising. We visited places of Salento that we did not expect to be around here. Time flew by and we learned a lot about Salento and it’s history. Very recommended to go with Carlos!!

It was a really interesting tour and it was clear that Carlos loves Salento and the nature here, and he also loved telling us about it. We can recommend the tour to everyone who wants to get to know more about Salento's architecture, history, and the wax palms.

Absolutely amazing tour! Carlos is so passionate and full of knowledge about the history and architecture of the area. He is very energetic and makes for a fun tour experience, definitely not a guide who just reads a list of facts. He even included a stop at his house to show off all the medicinal plants his family is growing in their garden. He also owns a coffee shop where we finished the tour and had some incredible espresso. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My wife and I showed up at the square and it was just the 2 of us. It all started like a private tour but eventually 2 Canadians joined since Nicolei had the free walking tour sign up.
The tour was definitely longer than expected but it was fun and informative. Laura gave us some restaurants recs and we tried 2 of them. We stopped to have ice cream and coffee tasting during the tour. Laura was kind and speaks good English.

We really enjoyed our tour with Raices around the center of Salento. They presented us with many curious facts about the town, we really appreciated trying new things, such as coffee, ice cream and multiple other things. The tour acquainted us with local holiday traditions, music and a bit of history.
