Excellent tour that explains how San Diego was founded and how these lands changed hands over the years to become what they are today. We even got to go inside some historic buildings, and Charlie's stories made the experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to text ahead of time, as the tour groups are small.

We just finished a downtown historic walk of San Diego and had a great time! Kate shared so much fascinating information that we didn't know and gave a really nice overview of the building of the city and how it relates to things now. I would definitely recommend!

Tana was my guide, others booked onto the tour didn’t show up so it was just me! Lucky me! Tana is born and bred in San Diego so has lots of local knowledge and is a lovely person. I learned a lot. The organisation wasn’t as slick as I’d expected, with the email the evening before from Isabella saying she wouldn’t be the guide but giving 2 other names. Neither of those was Tana - and Tana said neither of the 2 names given would work on a Sunday. Very strange!
