Free Walking Tours In Sintra in the afternoon

Fantastic tour and tour guide, Catalina was lovely and very knowledgeable, highly recommended and the best tour of the 3 we have done in Portugal, thanks Catalina!

This was our first time visiting Sintra. Catalina showed us many different areas of Sintra. We then were able to decide which area of Sintra we wanted to see more in depth. Catalina provided historical background of the areas visited which we really liked. The walking tour requires a lot of walking and sometimes up steep inclines. Wear good walking shoes. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it.

She is very professional, good entertainer and humourous, took us round and explain in details of all the historical structures, and the history of portugal.

João was an excellent guide. He had a great knowledge of Sintra and made the information so easy to take in. He also brought us to a stunning view point that we never would have found without the tour. It really made us appreciate the layers of history within the city.

Excellent free tour with a lovely lady, interesting and insightful information shared, top tips and hints to build on sightseeing. At times was a little hard to hear as SIntra was busy and the group didn’t bunch together as well as other tours I have been on. However this tour was an excellent introduction to SIntra for those who only have a day or so spare to visit this wonderful place.

Raphael does an amazing tour. I had to apologize since we booked for four: one didn't make it to the station to travel to Sintra and one had to bail once we arrived in Sintra but my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

We had a wonderful free walking tour of Sintra with fantastic guide Joāo. He was fun, funny, insightful and knowledgeable. Adapted to the group and added some personal knowledge of a very cool Moorish fountain. Would highly recommend you try to get Joao for your visit to Sintra, or when he does some of his other tours in Lisboa. A real local gem of a tour guide. 5*

Joao was extremely interesting giving a succint history of Sintra. He gave just the right amount of information required and introduced us to the local tasty delicacies.

Try to find most optimal way to the meeting point and back to hotel.

Kate was an amazing guide - extremely knowledgeable and passionate and we learnt so much.

Carlos was an interesting tour guide, sharing a combination of Sintras history and secrets and his own stories. He had a friendly and warm nature.
