Though the weather was not so nice, the tour was. Lucas showed us round the Centre and made some quizquestions inbetween, which was fun.

Lucas did a great job showing us the best of Utrecht. He told us great stories about the city, he also gave us some tips about where to go to eat or to see interesting events. The way he expressed himself while telling us the facts about the cities made the tour really fun and easy to follow. I am glad I took it and would repeat another time!

I recently joined a free walking tour in Utrecht, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Unlike the typical free walking tours led by young students looking to make some extra money with light-hearted stories, Bart brought a level of professionalism and dedication that truly stood out. His deep knowledge of Utrecht's history and his attention to detail were impressive. He shared real facts and accurate details, making the tour both informative and engaging. It was evident that he takes his job very seriously and is passionate about providing a high-quality experience for his guests. Additionally, when we asked Bart for some recommendations on how to spend our evening in Utrecht, his suggestions were absolute gems. We followed his advice and had an amazing time exploring the local spots he recommended.

Within Europe there are a large number of cities with a long tradition, great charm, history and an interesting cultural offer. The old continent can boast of having such attractive and interesting destinations as the city of Utrecht; Located in the central area of the Netherlands, throughout its history it has been one of the most important points for generations of Europeans, for its great beauty and for being in one of the most strategic areas of the center of the continent.

Known for its large number of canals and its proximity to other Dutch cities, it is one of the favorite destinations of thousands of tourists, who seek to enjoy the beauty of its monuments, buildings and its tasty cuisine; from the famous Bitterballen, a kind of round-shaped croquettes, through The Stamppot, a stew made with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes with some meats. The delicious pea soup with smoked sausages from Erwtensoep, passing through the Stroopwafels, some tasty caramel cookies, or the Rijsttafel, a typical dish of rice, vegetables and some meats.
