Free Walking Tours at Lyon

Bertrand was enthusiastic, witty, engaging and knowledgeable. Great service - I was running late for the group and messaged to say I would be late, Bertrand was checking for messages right up to the start of the tour, he was understanding and responsive in getting back to me, and then helped me find the tour group and join them 20 minutes after the tour had already started. Very much appreciated, as I really enjoyed the tour!

His tour was amazing! He explained the history while showing pictures. It was truly helpful to imagine the story. (Of course, his explanation was clear!) He recommended local bouchon spots. The info was so useful :) Because a lot of bouchon places popped up on Google map and it took me forever to figure out the great quality restaurants. He took us to landmarks and hidden gems. Actually, I visited some spots and streets before the tour, but it's a big difference if you know the background story. I passed by some spots that he showed us when I explored the city by myself. If you spend your time wisely, I highly recommend his walking tour.

If you want to experience the authentic non - touristy Lyon all while learning interesting facts of the city’s history this tour is definitely for you!! Bertrand is the ideal person to guide, knowledgeable, kind and funny. Visited some amazing hidden gems and beautiful street art spots ! Would definitely recommend.

We loved Betrand's energy and happy disposision. His love for Paris is also extraordinary and commentable ;-) He took us in places you wouldn't normally go since they were practically out of sight and very well hidden. He showed us around 4 or 5 traboules with each one being better than the last. Very fun and interesting experience and gives you a chance to quickly get a feel for the city within in a couple of hours.

Had a wonderful time with Bertand and the smaller group. I truly appreciated the “heatwave” special as it was basically 100 degrees! I left with stories and a lovely 2 hrs spent.💕

Very-super-highly recommended! Had a really pleasant walk around old town traboule and despite very hot weather the tour was comfortable. Bertrand is is very charismatic and really a fan of Lyon :) the tour has really changed my opinion about the city. I was really sorry that I had only 10€ with me Bertrand's tour is really deserve more than that!

Really enjoyed tour of Lyon with Bertrand. Was boiling hot weather but Bertrand chose great routes (particularly in the old town) that kept the whole group cool. Bertrand was very entertaining and provided lots of interesting information. I would highly recommend the tour.
