La Gorra is a group of local people who offer an alternative tour service focuses on promoting immersion tourism and provide information about the history, culture, traditions, among others relevant topics of our city and country. Currently, we offer free walking tours through the center of Lima where we'll explain you Lima city history and we'll take you to many interesting places, show you curiosities and we also provide you information about its culture, gastronomy, economy, environment and social issues. if you wanna know more about this fantastic city, don't hesitate to contact us.
- We will make a presentation of the group and give an introduction of the tour throughout the 2:30 hours that the visit lasts. - We will explain the main attractions around the Plaza Mayor (Lima Cathedral, Government Palace and Municipal Palace) - We will go to the Church of Santo Domingo. - We will visit the Central mail of Lima. - We will tour the Alameda Chabuca Granda and have a view of the Rimac River, the talkative river. - We will return to the Government Palace to see the changing of the guard (noon). - We will visit the railway station of the homeless, today Casa de la Literatura Peruana. - We will go to the San Francisco Church (brief explanation of the Catacombs. However, the entrance has a cost of S /. 15 soles per person, half the price for students). - On the way to the Central Market, we will see the Congress of the Republic and the Museum of Santa Inquisición (currently closed for maintenance). - Our tour will culminate in the Chinatown.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
