My name is Ángel, and I'm an Official Tourist Guide for Andalusia, a heritage interpreter, and a cultural promoter on social media. I've spent years researching the history and heritage of the municipalities in the province of Málaga and Andalusia, working with experts in each field. I'm in love with my town, my land, my country, its history, its heritage, its traditions, its nature, and its charms, and I'm passionate about sharing them with the world. I have extensive cultural training through courses, conferences, and congresses, in addition to studying History at the UNED (National University of Málaga). My content is based on serious research and the opinions of local experts. I've been sharing the secrets no one else tells about the towns of Málaga on social media for seven years, and it's something that fulfills me deeply. Unlike other tour guides, I'm very rigorous with my content to convey true and high-quality knowledge, the result of years of research and study with experts in each subject. But at the same time, I'll make sure you have fun and have a good time with me. I'll make sure you enjoy my land as much as I do, and you'll feel like a local! Come and discover with me everything you didn't know about Malaga and that no other guide tells you!

Tour description

Estepona is a town with a village soul that has managed to preserve its fishing and agricultural roots, although in recent years it has also become one of the new fashionable towns on the Costa del Sol. Its beautiful streets filled with flowers, pots, trees and colors have earned it the nickname " The Garden of the Costa del Sol " or also " The City of a Million Flowers " as some media have called it. Estepona holds the record for being the municipality with the largest number of flower pots on its streets in all of Spain - there are more than 30,000 !

You can't leave Estepona without visiting its Botanical Orchid Garden , which houses the largest collection of orchids in all of Europe.

But that's not all. It's also the largest open-air museum in Andalusia, with more than 70 murals that transform many of its buildings into true works of art, including one of the largest murals in Spain. It's also a great open-air book, as you can stroll through its streets and delight in reading the verses of beautiful poems in several languages.

Of course, Estepona is also an ancient town with a history and cultural heritage worth knowing, such as the Municipal Archaeological Museum , one of the most important in the province of Malaga or the Corominas Dolmens with more than 5000 years of antiquity, the Church of los Remedios that will take you to Latin America, the enigmatic Clock Tower , the legendary Castle of San Luis or the emblematic Plaza de las Flores.

On this free tour, you'll have a unique opportunity to delve into the secrets and legendary stories of this beachfront paradise called Estepona.

We will visit:
- The historic Plaza de las Flores , the nerve center of the city.
