Vieux-Québec, or Old Québec in addition to being an attraction is a collection of impressive tourist attractions. This Treasure is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also the Fortifications of Quebec are part of a Defense System between 1608 (when Samuel de Champlain founded the city) and 1871 sponsored by French, English and Canadians. Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. It's Montmorency Falls, 272 feet tall, a waterfall that is half the size of Niagara Falls just a few minutes from Quebec City (by car). Everyone talks about its European charm without being in Europe, this is the Petit Champlain district (Quartier du Petit Champlain), one of the oldest neighborhoods in North America. Very close walking is the Place Royale, a small square with a lot of history.
