I understand what it is like to be a visitor to a region and have such little time, and to be on a budget. During the walk I will offer you advice on the best restaurants, sidrerias, bars, venues, events etc for all budgets.
Our focal points will be the various statues located around Oviedo. You may have heard of or seen the various statues, which mostly indicate what went on in the surrounding area in bygone days. We will walk from statue to statue during which I will inform you of the reason why these statues are located in a particular place, and information about the person depicted.
During the walk we will pass famous (and not so famous) landmarks, and i will retell the history, such as the cathedral, the old market, various plazas, San Francisco Park and generally the old town. The story and history of the local gastronomy play a big part of my walks and I'm here to give my advice on all things. And, we may share a sidra on the way!
