Explore Bologna on a walking tour

Bologna is a beautiful medieval city with great history, culture and food. This tour takes you through the incredible history, architecture and culture of this amazing city. Open to children of all ages :) Couples and singles, everyone is welcome. The tour will be: 
- Meeting in Via Indipendenza in front of the statue of Garibaldi on his horse; 
- Historical description of the origin of the city and its location with great medieval stories of antiquity. 
- Visit to the square with a cultural and historical explanation of the surrounding buildings; 
- Marvel at the prestigious market area with food recommendations and Bolognese cooking lessons. 
- Then on the walk to the two towers (Due Torri) and we will briefly delve into the history of the towers. 
- We will briefly visit the 7 churches in Piazza Santo Stefano (Basilica Santo Stefano) and the typical street of the Bologna University campus, Via Zamboni. 
- Back to our original meeting point where I will give you more travel tips for a fantastic lunch or dinner that only a local can tell you in order to enjoy the most authentic Bolognese food. I'll send you a message on Guruwalk to ask for your confirmation the day before. Just make sure you are there :)
