History teachers, artists, communicators and tour guides we get together to tell you about the social demands that mobilize our country nowadays. We want to invite you to experience the true chilean history through the artistic manifestations that day by day have transformed our streets into massive art galleries. Our tour looks for you to take a real token of the Chile of today. Join us!

Tour description

Get ready to discover one of the most important social movements of recent times, through a journey that is and will be part of the history of Chile, and South America.

Chile woke up, and its capital is more alive than ever, join us to observe and discover in depth how the city has become a canvas, what are the social demands that have motivated this movement, and what are the symbols of this new way of making art in the streets, told even by their artists.

We will visit:

- La Dignidad Square (Ex Plaza Italia)

- Arte Alameda Center

- Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM)

- Lastarria neighborhood

We recommend you to wear comfortable shoes to do this tour, bandana and sunscreen, sunglasses and hat. Very important, do not forget your bottle with water.

Outside Telefónica Building, in the corner between Providencia and Gral Bustamante streets. The tour guides are going tu use a black t-shirt, and also they will have a black Chilean flag with the logo Chile Despertó Free Tour.

How much does this tour cost?

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end the amount they consider appropriate (amounts usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
