Tour description
The Chilean Military Dictatorship Tour - Museum of Memory and Human Rights will be a tour of the historical presence of the background that triggered the 1973 Coup d'état, at the hands of the Government Junta, led by General Augusto Pinochet. We will analyze the history of the rise of Doctor Salvador Allende Gossens, to the highest public office held by the Republic of Chile, as the first democratically elected socialist President in the world. In this guided tour, full of reflection and debate on Human Rights violations, the aim is to give the visitor a global vision of what happened in this country between 1973 and 1990.
It should be noted that our guides are professionals authorized by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism of Chile, certified under high international standards and all have authorization from Sernatur (National Tourism Service), the entity that regulates this activity in Chile.
