Tour description
The Tour of the "Mercados, Patronato and Bellavista - Happy Hour- in a single day" will allow us to get to know one of the largest commercial and migrant neighborhoods in the country, created during the 16th century, a sector classically called "La Chimba".
This tour begins in the Plaza de Armas, and then goes to one of the classics of Santiago, the Central Market with beautiful neoclassical architecture from 1872. From there, we will cross to the north of Santiago, and we will walk through the old Mercados de la Vega and Tirso de Molina.
Then, we will go through commercial streets to get to know the Arab/Jewish neighborhood, a sector that was born at the beginning of the 20th century with the arrival of the Arab and Jewish community, who created an interesting commercial pole that later attracted merchants of different nationalities, such as the the case of the Jewish, Korean, Taiwanese, Chinese and currently Vietnamese communities, who saw Chile as a welcoming country with opportunities.
We will continue our route to reach the foot of the San Cristóbal hill, and the beautiful access to the funicular and main road of the Bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista, where we will visit the house of the famous poet Pablo Neruda and the Plaza Camilo Morí.
We will finish our tour in a modern gastronomic sector so that the tourist can enjoy at his expense, an excellent evening in said area.
