We took this tour with Tati 7 years ago and enjoyed it so much then that we wanted to take it again on this return visit to Cozumel. Tati did not disappoint. We had an excellent time touring the wonderful San Miguel downtown area. Tati was so passionate about showing us the street and market which you wouldn't have seen on a larger group. The 1.5 hours tour was very easy and covered lots of interesting areas of the town. If you have been to the island many times but not to the downtown area, this is the best way to explore. Tati is a wondering guide and she recommended us a very good taco spot for lunch. Excellent tour guide.

I use guru walks in many cities I visit. It is a great way to become introduced to a new city. The guides have always been very informative. Tati was our guide in Cozumel. There was less history explained and more of the current flavor of the city introduced with great recommendations for places to go. We took Tati’s recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Take the tours. They are usually free but require a tip to the guide.

This was a great look at the real Cozumel. Tati my guide was knowledgeable about local history and could relate personal experience of living on the island , where the locals shop for everyday foods and local customs. I would recommend this tour to good walkers. Not recommended for handicap/scooter users as some uneven surfaces and lots of narrow walkways

Tati was great! She worked with our cruise schedule and took us out of the tourist traps to show us real Cozumel. She treated us to local tastes and told us about what it is like to live on the island. Highly recommend!

Our visit to Cozumel was short(7 days). Tati's tour of Cozumel provided the kind of practical info we wanted in the short time that we had - about restaurants, specialty shops and services, cafes, etc. We also learnt about the history of Cozumel - made interesting with Tati's recounting of various anecdotes. She was very patient with listening to, and answering questions from my elementary school aged children. We had curious questions about the public healthcare, public education and the utility services on the island - and she provided us very informed answers. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Tati was enthusiastic about Cozumel and she has a real love for it. She was very interesting and told us lots of fascinating facts, showed us non touristy things to do and opened our eyes to things we hadn’t noticed before. The walk was at a perfect pace and just the right amount of time. I would definitely recommend Tati as a tour guide !
