Mohammed is my name but you can call me Simo, I am a full time Microsoft Technical Support ( Xbox ) I have been a tour guide with Morocco exchange program and I like you tours in Rabat, I like to be surrounded by optimistic people and I avoid negativity. Rabat is the place I call home but I live in Sale ( 20mins away ) Rabat is a multicultural city that has more than one place to visit, There's Oudaya garden, the beach, the Souk, Hassan tower, old Medina, and much more to offer. I have been doing tours since 2009 and I love doing them. I have worked as a cabin crew with Flydubai, British Council as a teaching center assistant, and as a translator for a football ( Soccer ) agent, and I am good at football if you want to play lol

About the tour

Rabat is one of the most famous cities in africa and the capital of Morocco. I would like to take you on a journey where the beauty of old medina meets the astonishing modernity of the new buildings that show the must gorgeous views and scenery you should see for yourself. A safe and fun tour can be acheived through communication and shared thoughts. You can choose when to start your tour and when it should finish. Share your thoughts freely and help me make this tour not just informative but also a fun and memorable experience.

The way it works you book a tour and pick the time that suits you best, I am open to all of your suggestions, opinions, and ideas. I can help you get a ride from the airport or from any place to Rabat or back. I can also assist you in your journey if you are planning to travel around Morocco by giving tips or travel with you (all expenses should be covered by you ). I can show you Chefchaouen, Marrakesh, Tangier, Casablanca, Agadir...etc and after all It is your tour. So feel free to shape it the way you want and I'm here to make it a safe and an informative one. My tours are not so formal, we go out as friends, and at the end of the tour you can tip the amount you want. The meeting point is the tramway station " Medina Rabat " or you can simply send me your location and we can meet there.

PS : Some travelers only booked without confirming their tour and I ended up there not finding anyone. Please confirm your tour by a message so we can discuss the details and make sure that we meet on time. Moreover, the time is very flexible

Mohammed was very nice and helpful. He answered all our questions and walked with us through different parts of the city. However there was not a lot of background information in the tour, it was more of just walking through the city. This tour is for people that are looking to find their way around the city and not for someone looking to get historical or architectural information about Rabat.

I have already reviewed but will happily tell you again what I think. Our “Guru” didn’t turn up. He emailed me claiming that I hadn’t verified the tour. I had, and have proof. He claimed that he turned up and we didn’t. Not true.

Guru Walking Tours have been in touch with me and made apologies. Our “Guru” hasn’t apologised.

On this basis I don’t recommend these tours.

It was a very good tour. Mohamed (Simo) was on time. He shared info on the Moroccan culture that could not be found online or in any book. It is definitely a plus to have a guide that is from the place or region you are visiting. He was a kind and attentive host for an unforgettable 3 hour walking tour of Rabat.
